This is a brief and informative update that due to the demonstrable incompetence of Automattic CEO Matt Mullenweg, I no longer have the impression that he is a capable development lead for WordPress.
As a result, I elected to switch to using ClassicPress instead, as it aligns closer to what I am looking for out of a blogging engine.
