Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for https://noirscape.dev . It only pertains to the main domain; for any subdomain, you should check the privacy policy of whatever tool is running on it.

The really short version

(Note: the Long version applies in case of conflicts between the short and long version.)

I do not collect any data on you outside of standard distro/software logs, which I can do because of security related reasons. These logs are rotated with logrotate every day, meaning your data will not be retained this way for more than 10 days.

The long version

When you visit this blog, we may register the following information about you:

  • Your IP address
  • Your User Agent
  • The URLs you visited
  • When you visited those URLs

This data is only retained for security purposes (a Legitimate Purpose under the GDPR) and expires automatically after 10 days.

We don’t make use of invasive tracking plugins; every tool on this site is carefully selected to ensure it does not report to any unnecessary third parties. Similarly, we try to avoid the use of third party CDNs as much as possible.

You cannot leave comments on this website; I do not care for them, and what I do not store about you, you cannot ask me to remove.

Unless you’re the admin (and you’re not, that’s me), no cookies will be stored. If you are the admin, all cookies are considered essential cookies as they just ensure that the admin sessions keep working.

Where your data is stored

Those server logs are stored in Europe; I do not host my servers in the US.
